We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Business Development Executive - One Position

You should have a background in Mental Health / Psychology with the ability to develop working relationships with related professionals across India in promoting Samarpan’s services.

You will be expected to be immersed in our clinical approach, and well versed in being able to speak to fellow professionals such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists and other addiction professionals, as well as corporate clients.

You will also be involved in developing our alumni program, and organizing Samarpan promotional and educational events. The ability to be creative in your approach, and to collect and analyse data, provide monthly reports and identify new markets is a necessity.

You should also have a good understanding of social and digital media, and will work closely with the clinical team and digital and social media content creators to obtain performance related bonuses.

Previous experience in a marketing or business development role is necessary, but ultimately the passion to be part of changing people’s lives is paramount.

Being fluent in Hindi and English is essential. As the organization develops, there will be further career pathways.

Recovery Specialist

We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Recovery Specialist

You must possess a recognised qualification in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or complimentary therapies.

We require an individual with a passion for working with challenging clients with in a group and one-to-one setting in our residential facility based in Pune.

Specifically, a person who is proficient in the disciplines of mindfulness, reiki or yoga as part of their skill set would be highly desirable. A working knowledge of addiction treatment and recovery is required.

You will need to be fluent in English and Hindi. Given the nature of our services, Recovery Specialists will be expected to work varied shift patterns to meet client and service needs.

As a Recovery Specialist, you will need to be an effective communicator, that can be assertive with challenging and complex need client’s, as well as open to developing new skills and approaches, and understand the concept of the therapeutic alliance. Our Recovery Specialists are expected to engender the ethics of confidentiality and professional boundaries, in line with the organisation's code of ethics, as well as that of their own licensing bodies. Admissions & Intake Co-Ordinator

We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Admissions & Intake Co-Ordinator

You should have a recognized Mental Health Professional Qualification, such as in Clinical Psychology, Addictions or Counselling Psychology and be fluent in Hindi and English. You should have three years post graduate experience, and experience in admissions processes.

You will be expected to be immersed in our clinical approach, and well versed in being able liaise with fellow professionals such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists and other addiction related professionals, as well as corporate clients.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for any client who is seeking treatment at Samarpan, and your ability to screen the client and place them in the appropriate level of care based on SAMSHA criteria will be required. As Samarpan offers a full continuum of care, you will ensure that clients are placed appropriately and will be the entry point for all admissions into any of the Samarpan programs.

Whilst this is not a sales role, the ability to provide assurance, accurate answers and place clients into our services is paramount. As part of this role, you will be the point of contact for prospective clients, family members and referring clinicians – and will be expected to work closely with the Business Development Executive.

You will also be involved in the discharge process of clients, and the ongoing signposting into other levels of care either in Samarpan or other services. This position requires a passion for the services that we deliver and for a self-motivated person, who will be able to provide a seamless transition into and between services.

You will be expected to collect data and complete repots for analysis and also be part of the Samarpan clinical team. Whilst predominately based at the Pune residential service, there will also be regular trips to our Mumbai Outpatient service for in-person screening.

You should be ‘tech savy’ and able to use the telephone and computer to undertake screening interviews virtually, and be comfortable and competentin doing so. As the organization develops there will be further career pathways.

We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Digital and Social Media Content Creator

Samarpan is looking for a highly motivated Social Media Content Creator to help us in creating original and engaging content for our social media platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics, blogs and text captions. You will also be expected to create and execute a content calendar. You will need to be capable in using tech to create engaging content aimed at both clients and professionals and will also need to be proficient in how social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok work, and be required to stay attuned to the latest trends.

You will be immersed into our clinical approaches, and should be passionate about addressing mental health and addictions with a desire to helping people change their lives. You will be expected to work closely with Business Development and our Clinical Team, and will be predominantly based in Pune however, travel to Mumbai will be frequent, as well as attending other Samarpan events or conferences Pan India and globally. We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Personal Trainers- Two Positions (One male & one female)

Our residential centre in Pune requires two qualified personal trainers. You should have a recognised qualification in personal training, and ideally additional qualifications in other disciplines related to sports, recreation and wellness, in particular nutrition, yoga, Pilates or other alternative approaches that will supplement our program would be beneficial.

As a personal trainer, you will be working with both Indian and international clients daily, therefore you will need to be proficient in English and Hindi. You will be expected to provide exercise and training plans both for each individual client and groups as well as record all sessions accordingly.

As our clients often require motivation, you should have an outgoing personality, and be able to engage and motivate clients to achieve results during their stay in Samarpan. You will be expected to become immersed in our clinical approaches, be part of our clinical team, and will be provided with training around Substance Abuse and Mental Health. Having a professional approach, with clear boundaries is imperative, as well as the ability to be assertive with clients. The ability to be creative and offer a variety of group activities to cover a range of differing needs is important.

You will be working in a well-equipped gym, and provided with all the equipment and facilities to deliver exciting and interesting sports, recreational and wellness programs.

Nursing – Lead Nurse

Nursing – Lead Nurse

A BSc Qualification in Nursing is necessary for this role, and a qualification in Psychiatric Nursing desirable. You should have a minimum of three years post-graduation experience in a clinical setting, and ideally some supervisory experience. As we also have international clients, fluency in English and Hindi is essential.

You should be organised in your approach, and adhere to the highest standards of clinical practice as well as be well versed in ethics and confidentiality. As the lead Nurse you will be supervising a team of four nurses, and will also be expected to work closely with our Clinical Team, as well as local hospital and pharmacy providers.

Record keeping, planning and scheduling is essential, as well as the ability to be assertive with staff and clients, and to promote health and wellness. Nurses will be expected to develop skills around observation of clients, both behavioural and physical, and will need to be conversant in psychiatric medications, withdrawal management, documentation and a willingness to learn about mental health and therapy.

As a person, you should be non-judgemental and be able to work with clients who can sometimes present as challenging.

We are currently looking for the right people to join our team in Pune, in the following role:

Therapist – Pune and Mumbai

You must possess a recognised qualification in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or Nursing with additional recognised qualifications in Addiction / Substance Abuse or other therapies; such as EMDR, EFT, Clinical Hypnotherapy. You should have a solid working knowledge of CBT, and may also be skilled in other modalities.

You should have a minimum of three years post graduate experience working in a clinical area in Mental Health or Addiction – either in a residential or outpatient setting. It is desirable that you have an additional are of expertise in either Trauma, Eating Disorders, Gambling or Sex addiction. You will have the skills required to provide group and individual session interventions, and additionally be experienced in conducting Assessments, Treatment Planning and Discharge Planning as well as been able to undertake a Case Management role.

You will need to be fluent in English. As part of your induction, you will be required to undertake an initial month of training in our evidence-based approaches at our facility in Pune so as to understand the clinical models that we offer, and to ensure seamless service deliveries between each level of care. Given the nature of our services, therapists will be expected to work varied shift patterns to meet client and service needs. As a therapist, you will need to be an effective communicator, that can be assertive with challenging and complex need client’s, as well as open to developing new skills and approaches, and understand the concept of the therapeutic alliance. Our therapists are expected to engender the ethics of confidentiality and professional boundaries, in line with the organisations code of ethics, as well as that of their own licensing bodies. Internships

Samarpan currently has opportunities for internships as Therapists. These placements provide an opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients with alcohol and substance addictions, and respond to a range of presenting issues.

Description:

  • All internships require a minimum of 3 months commitment.
  • Weekly Group supervision provided by very experienced licensed staff (Therapists & Clinical Psychologist’s) and all trainees participate in in-service training.
  • Twice a month Individual supervision scheduled between the intern and supervisor.
  • Twice a day Hand-over meeting with the clinical staff and Director of Residential Services

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be graduate students or post-graduate interns in the field of Counselling, Mental Health, Addictions or Psychology
  • Must have good English communication and writing skills.
  • Must possess good self-discipline and work habits.
  • Independent and able to deal with challenging clients and situations.
  • Been knowledgeable in counselling and psychotherapy is of utmost importance.
  • Must have good counselling and interviewing skills.
