Samarpan Represents India at Lee Fitzgerald Annual London Workshop

We are proud to take part in Lee FitzGerald’s annual London Workshop, 6th–8th November at Marriott Regents Park, a global gathering of more than 200 addiction professionals from 26 countries, all working toward stronger and more ethical treatment practices.

Samarpan was represented by Martin Peters and Obi Unaka, who spent three enriching days learning, networking, and exchanging ideas with colleagues from across the world. On the opening day, Martin delivered a talk on Samarpan’s journey in India, covering the development of our residential and outpatient services, key milestones in the first three years, and the challenges and learnings that shape our approach today. His session was warmly received and sparked thoughtful questions and conversations with professionals from multiple countries.

On 7th November, Samarpan had the opportunity to sponsor the early-morning breakfast, creating space for informal networking and meaningful interactions before the day’s sessions. Throughout the workshop, our information stand helped us connect with delegates, discuss treatment methodologies, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The event offered powerful insights from global presenters, as well as the chance to reconnect with long-time friends and partners in the addiction treatment community. We are grateful to Lee FitzGerald and the organising team for creating a space that inspires ongoing growth.

We’re already looking forward to returning next year and to joining everyone again at UKESAD in July.
